october favourites

For a while I've been looking for a colouring book, yes a colouring book. I swear I can never find one. Ive been wanted to step up my colouring game for a while now. Im not the most confident when it comes to colors, so it usually ends with me ruining a drawing I've spent ages on..
I was browsing through the bookstore as I always do when I'm in the city, I came across this little gem, Secret garden colouring book by Johanna Basford. Johanna Basford is and amazing artist who creates intricate illustrations. (Honestly I can't stop flipping through the book cause its so pretty.)  Throughout her book you'll find little hidden animals in her drawings, mazes, and some unfinished patters that is left for you to complete. (more of her work Johanna Basford)

Right before I went to The Philippines back in July  I bought myself a goPro, wanting to document everything on my trip. Honestly I felt a bit awkward walking around with a camera on a stick, (I got a lot of weird looks).. Having never used on, I spent most of my trip figuring out how it works. I did get a couple of clips of me snorkeling (for the first time)..
Now that I've had some time to play around with it, I get what an awesome camera it is and the endless possibilities. all month I've been outside taking time-lapse of the sunrise/sunset, of the clouds moving across the sky, its really cool to watch (I feel like the discovery channel or something)

The gopro camera is such a nifty little thing to have with you on holiday. Its small, waterproof and it shoots in HD what more could you want? The image quality is pretty good with its fisheye lens, you never have to worry about not being in frame. With different features like video, time-lapse, photo, Wi-fi, and so on. Great shot on land or in the sea. I just wish it had a viewfinder and the battery would last longer.

So tell me what have you been liking in october?
